In response to the need to establish alliances between those who make up the value chains and contribute to the reduction of deforestation and degradation of the forests and jungles of Mexico, in 2018, the Rainforest Alliance (RA) launched the Markets for a Sustainable Future initiative. Three years in, 19 partners are committed to transforming supply chains, developing national and international markets for products that promote sustainable practices, and improving the livelihoods of small producers in Mexico.
